Tour Itinerary and details
Day 1 - Arrival at Goa
Our pickup point is near Margao and Vasco-da-Gama Railway Station from where our Volvo with our Yahoo Tour manager will take you to the pre-booked hotel. Evening you will enjoy at Beach with great view of a setting Sun and a vast sea. Night we will be back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 2 - Goa (North Goa)
After breakfast full day sightseeing tour of the city. North Goa tour includes Panaji, the capital of Goa. Visit famous St. Francis church, Dona Paula, Baga Beach / Calangute Beach, and Vagator with an old fort - Fort Aguada overlooking the beach. Later enjoy the sunset views.This will be followed by dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 3 - Goa (South Goa)
Visit Shri Shanta Durga Temple dedicated to Goddess of peace and then Shanteri and Shri Ramanath Temple in the Shri Ramnath Panchayatan, a temple complex at Ponda have many temples together that act as the Goan landmarks. This will be followed by visit to Colva beach the oldest, largest and the most spectacular of south Goa beaches. After spending some leisure time at the beach explore the local market to buy the famous Goan cashew, feni, and much more. This will be followed by dinner and overnight stay.
Day 4 - Goa – Mahabaleshwar (389 Kms. / 7-8 Hrs.)
Morning post breakfast we will proceed to our next destination which is one of the coolest hill station in Maharashtra, Mahabaleshwar. It lies at an altitude of 1,353 m in the Western Ghats range of India. This pretty hill station is often referred as the queen of hill stations in Maharashtra. It offers panoramic view of the plains with the imposing sloppy peaks and surrounding woods. After check-in at pre-booked hotel rest for some time and then you are free to explore the local market. Mahabaleshwar is famous for farm fresh strawberries (season is from October to April), Syrups, juice concentrates, fruit crushes and much more. After returning from the market, enjoy your dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 5 – Mahabaleshwar (Local Sightseeing)
Morning, post healthy breakfast we leave for local sightseeing. Mahabaleshwar is full of lovely views, beautiful landscapes and pleasant temperatures. There are many tourist attractions in Mahabaleshwar like forts, temples, lakes, and many more. Pratapgarh Fort, Venna Lake, Mahabaleshwar Temple, Krishnabai Temple, Lingamala Falls, Tapola, Panchgani are some important tourist spots in Mahabaleshwar. There are several viewpoints that are strategically located to capture the panoramic views created by the majestic Sahyadri Mountains and deep valleys. Arthur's Seat, Wilson Point, Kate's Point, Elephant head Point, Connaught Peak and Bombay Point are popular viewpoints. After exploring the beauty of Mahabaleshwar with all the spots and points we return back to hotel for some lovely dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 6 - Mahabaleshwar – Mumbai (263 Kms./ 5 – 6 Hrs.)
Morning, after early breakfast we leave for the commercial hub and capital of Maharashtra, Mayanagri Mumbai. En-route we will also visit twin hill stations Lonawala and Khandala. Here we will have a flying visit to Karla caves and tourists can buy fudges and chikkis which are famous food items of this place. After reaching Mumbai check-in at our pre-booked hotel. Take rest, enjoy dinner and overnight stay at hotel.
Day 7 - Mumbai (Local Sightseeing)
Morning post breakfast we start our day tour by visiting famous Siddhi Vinayak temple. After taking blessings from Ganpati Bappa, we will move towards the famous dargah of Pir Haji Ali Shah Bukhari which is known as Haji Ali Dargah built on a tiny islet 500 meters from the coast, in the middle of Worli Bay. The edifice is a brilliant specimen of the Indo-Islamic style of architecture. After spending some time here we will move to Mahalaxmi temple which is in close proximity. The Mahalaxmi temple contains images of the Tridevi goddesses Mahakali , Mahalakshmi and Mahasaraswati.
After visiting these holy places we will move to the iconic structure of Gateway Of India from where we will also go to Elephanta caves which is predominantly dedicated to lord Shiva. The Elephanta Caves is connected by ferry services from the Gateway of India. Spending some leisure time at the caves we return back to Gateway Of India from where we will proceed to Nariman Point. is the fourth most expensive office location in the world. It is home to some of the biggest financial and business establishments such as Air India, Central Bank of India, Indian Express, State Bank of India, The Oberoi Hotel and so on. Even more eye-catching is the breathtaking view of Arabian Sea, which is the highlight of Nariman Point that attracts tourists from all over the country and also the world. Strewn with many skyscrapers, Nariman Point gives a stunning impression of Manhattan and therefore, had been designated as the 'Manhattan of Mumbai'. Here you will enjoy the waves and the breeze, while clicking some selfies and group photographs, sitting on the rocks. Post such hectic yet refreshing day return back to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 8 - Mumbai (Local Sightseeing cont…)
Early morning Post breakfast we will leave for Global Vipassana Pagoda. This monument is a tribute to the philosophies of Lord Gautama Buddha. It is one of the tallest stone structure in the world and also largest piller-less dome in the world. From the holy place like Pagoda we will move towards the entertaining world of famous Mumbai Filmcity. Your visit to Mumbai is incomplete till you have had a taste of Bollywood, which is the world’s second largest film and music industry. After having a look at the Bollywood and TV stars and their actual working place we will drive to ISKCON temple. After attending the arti of lord Krishna we will proceed to Juhu beach one of the famous tourist attraction of Mumbai. Night return to hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 9 - Mumbai - Trimbakeshwar - Shirdi - Mumbai (290 Kms. / 6-7 Hrs. and back)
Morning after early breakfast we checkout from hotel and drive to Trimbakeshwar, near Nashik which is famous for one of the twelve Jyotirlings. After visiting this holy site we will proceed towards Shirdi, where we will check-in and have some rest. Then we will proceed to the famous Sai Baba temple and spend some time with ourselves. After offering our prayers we will also visit the famous temple of lord Shani at Shani Singnapur. By late evening we return back to our hotel for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 10 - Shirdi - Departure
Morning those who want to visit the Sai Baba Temple again can do so and come back by 8 am. After breakfast we checkout from hotel and leave for Mumbai. It’s a bye bye time so we begin our journey towards your sweet home. Those who want to catch their train from Nashik will be dropped at Nashik. Rest of the tourists will reach Mumbai and will be droped at their respective stations/airport. Hope your Holidays concludes with beautiful Memories.
